Good Morning Everyone,  We hope you all had a great Homecoming Weekend!  Just a reminder that we have a PHS Athletics Gear Store that will be closing tonight.  Here is the link if you want any gear for wearing around school or for any Christmas/Holiday presents. A red athletic long-sleeved shirt with a quarter-zip collar. 
The Marching Band & Color Guard dominated their First Place finish at the Hatboro-Horsham Cavalcade of Bands competition with a score of 86.85! They beat the second-place band by 5 points.  This is their 5th first place finish for the group this year and 8th top-3 finish.  They won all captions including Best Music, Best Visual and Best Effect.  They also won for Best Percussion.  They currently have the highest score for all Independence A Bands in the Cavalcade of Bands circuit by one-tenth of a point.  They will compete for a championship and the school record this weekend at Dallastown High School in PA.   Congratulations and good luck in your championship pursuit.
 
The Girls Soccer Team The had an undefeated week going 2-0.  The girls started the week with a 5-0 win over Moorestown Friends on Tuesday.  Mikayla Mangano recorded a hat trick to lead the offense.  Cameron DiMeo and Jillian Hines each scored as well.  Elsie Kenson made 2 saves to earn the shutout. 
Mikayla Mangano then made history on Thursday by breaking the PHS school record for career goals by scoring 3 more goals in the team’s 5-0 win over BCIT Westampton.  Mikayla now has 88 career goals and will be able to add to her record as the girls take on Burlington Township tomorrow.  Elsie Kenson made 1 save in goal for the shutout win.  Meghan Austin scored twice and added an assist for the Lady Panthers who are now 10-5-1 on the season.
 
The Boys Soccer Team went 1-1 on the week.  The boys opened the week with a 5-0 win over Moorestown Friends.  Kian Briant led the offense with 3 goals.  Alex Walker and Luiz Rosa added goals for the Panthers.  Marco Ordonez, Justin Butler and Jaxon McCamy added assists.  Deakon Haines made 6 saves in goal to earn the shutout win.  
The boys lost a tough game at BCIT Westampton on Thursday on a last minute goal, 1-0.  The boys are now 8-6-3 on the season.
 
The Cross Country Team On Wednesday, the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed in the Burlington County Scholastic League Championship.
The Boys’ team—Johnny Hammond, TJ Peltz, Justin Clemons, Brock Weaver, Captain Carter May, and Simon Jacobs—finished 6th out of 10 teams.

  • Johnny Hammond placed 4th overall, earning a medal and a spot on the First Team Freedom Division.
  • Senior Carter May and Justin Clemons both ran personal bests—great job!
On the Girls’ side, Madison Grimes also ran a personal best, and both Madison Grimes and Maya Richman Dupont were named to the Second Team Freedom Division.  Congratulations to all our runners for their hard work and impressive performances!
 
The Football Team hosted Burlington City on Saturday for Homecoming.  Unfortunately, the Panthers lost 60-0.  The Panthers will have 1 final game as they host Gloucester Catholic this Wednesday at 5PM at Matt Curtis Memorial Stadium.
 
The Girls Tennis Team has concluded their season with the BCSL Open and finished their season with a record of 2-10.
 
=======================M I D D L E   S C H O O L=========================== 
The Middle School Boys Soccer Boys A Team went 1-0-1 on the week and beat Collingswood A on Monday, 3-2.  Brady Foley, Max Hauger and Joey Malloy scored the goals for the Panthers in their win over Collingswood.  On Wednesday the boys tied Delsea Middle School 1-1 with Brady Foley scoring off an assist from Gabe Moran.  The boys will return to action today at Williamstown Middle School.
 
The Palmyra Middle School Boys B team tied Collingswood B on Monday 0-0.  They then beat Riverside B 3-2 on Thursday. Kayo Do Carmo Da Cunha started the scoring giving the Panthers an early lead with an assist from Dominic Sawyer.  Dominic Sawyer continued the scoring with an assist from Ben Youngblood and then scored the game winner with an assist from Cameron Ridgway. Great effort guys!  Another great performance from the goalies Brian Williams and Dean Condodina.
 
The Middle School Girls Soccer A Team went 1-0-1 on the week and defeated Collingswood A on Monday 3-0.  Charlotte Campbell scored twice and Ryan Curcie added a goal.  Liz Youngblood, Aurora Previch and Abbi Flynn got the assists.  The girls tied Delsea Middle School on Wednesday 2-2.  Charlotte Campbell scored twice.  Ryan Curcie recorded the assist.  Emma McNabb made 9 saves and Brooke Strobel made 6 saves in goal.  The girls will host Williamstown today at Charles Street.
 
The Palmyra Middle School Girls B team battled Collingswood and Riverside during the week.
